The idea for Maui O came upon me when I realized there was a need for affordable catering on the island. Several companies had closed and my primary business and venue, Sugar Beach Events, is tailored to a client with a bigger budget. I want to make sure we are offering visitors what they need and I want to make sure guests who have a tight budget are still able to come to this magical island and make their dream come true. Nothing makes me happier than to be a part of that.

I am the Executive Chef for Maui Ohana Catering. I am also a hostess at heart. Throwing a great party and watching it unfold is what makes me tick. It is all about creating the menu, organizing the plan and executing the event. We are all in this business because we really do love it. It is hard work and very gratifying at the end of the day when your guests leave thanking you for such an amazing time.
Director of Catering and Sales
As Director of Catering and Sales, Jessica handles all correspondences with clients looking for Maui catering options at an affordable price. She has been the Director at Sugar Beach Events for the past 4 years. With years of experience in sales and finances Jess has developed the skills to assist her clients achieve their catering needs while keeping affordability in mind. Her main goal is to provide a high level of accessible communication with prompt responses to clients inquiries and questions.

There might not be anyone easier to get along with than Todd. Hailing from Detroit this long time Maui resident has been taking the art of mixing drinks and sharing his craft with others, as his passion. Cool and calm in nature, plan on a genuine smile and maybe a little sass as you pony up to the bar to place your drink order. His past 5 years spent in the wedding industry shaking up cocktails and understanding the significance of your special day will be apparent upon meeting him.
