Blueberries are believed to contain the highest antioxidant capacity of all commonly consumed fruits and vegetables. Antioxidants protect our bodies from damage by free radicals, unstable molecules that can damage our DNA and contribute to aging and diseases like cancer. Studies have also shown blueberries to be linked to lowering blood pressure, preventing heart disease, helping memory and brain function, improving insulin sensitivity, lowering blood sugar levels, and accelerating muscle recovery after strenuous exercise.

Frozen blueberries are available at any time of the year. It only takes 4 minutes for blueberries to freeze. They’re frozen straight from the farm with all the good stuff locked in and can keep up to 10 months in your freezer. With the availability of frozen blueberries, it’s easy to enjoy the goodness of this yummy fruit all the time!
