Ginger-Lemon-Honey Cold-Buster Tonic

  • 1 inch piece fresh ginger
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 juice lemon
  • 2 Tbsp raw honey


  1. Peel and chop ginger into large chunks and place into pot with boiling water. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes with the cover on. Turn off heat and steep for another 5 minutes.  

  2. Then add the lemon juice.  Strain the tea and toss out the ginger pieces. 

  3. Stir in the honey. Pour into mug and enjoy! 

Recipe Notes

If you don't have fresh ginger on hand, stir 1/2 tsp. ground ginger into warm water until you get the heat you seek.
